"POG Theme" is the second single to be released from the upcoming Alasitas by Australian band Shrapnel. A change of pace from what we were expecting, it is an instrumental track that proceeds at a stately pace with flute and clarinet as the dominant instruments. Part lo-fi chamber pop, part '60s San Francisco flower power, it is peaceful yet quietly compelling.
Shrapnel is Sam Wilkerson, Matt Neville, Nicholas Johnson, Toby Baldwin, Lani Crooks, and Caroline de Dear. Alasitas will be released on June 11 via Tenth Court Records.
