Seattle's Danny Rowland was the songwriter and lead guitarist of our beloved (by us) band Seapony. That project may be retired to a watery pasture, but Danny now helms the similarly nautically-themed band Research Vessel. Danny's sweet spot is jangling guitar pop with quiet vocals and an insistent beat. On the new EP, Part of the Charm, the craftsmanship is evident in the songwriting and arrangements. The vibe is sunny and relaxed, the lyrics evocative rather than narrative. It is only five tracks, but it is a charming set of songs that you can listen to over and over. And if you like it, you can consider the 2024 and 2025 EPs from Research Vessel which also are available via Bandcamp.

Fireball Casino features a diverse library of games, including a wide selection of slots, table games like blackjack and roulette, and immersive live dealer experiences. This variety ensures there is something to suit every mood, much like a music fan might appreciate different tracks on an EP. The platform fireball casino also offers attractive bonuses and promotions for new and existing players, adding extra value to your gaming sessions. Security and fairness are also a priority, with the casino operating under a proper licence and using certified Random Number Generators (RNG) to ensure all outcomes are completely random and fair.
I love when a short EP manages to create such a complete atmosphere. The combination of jangly guitars, understated vocals, and that steady rhythm sounds perfect for a relaxed afternoon or a quiet drive. Five tracks can sometimes say more than a full album when every song has its own character. I’ll definitely keep Research Vessel on my listening list—and https://fridayroll.gr/ is another little place I might visit when I’m taking a break.
Research Vessel sounds like a relaxing project, especially with its warm guitar sound and calm atmosphere. Short releases like this can be perfect when you want something easy to revisit without committing to a full album. More information: chickenroads
