The Stammer is a Philadelphia-based postpunk band - incorporating psych, garage and some great guitar lines. Like the pace, the drumming, noisy keyboards and the layered guitars. You know what occurred to me? If you, like me, ever wished the Walkmen would pick up the pace a little bit sometimes, check this out. Feels like the drummer's driving the car, and I like it.
