On Tour - Cave Singers, supporting No Witch


Have been spending some time listening to No Witch, The Cave Singers' February release - a fine psychedelic rock record from this Seattle-based band which also features well-placed blues licks, and gospel tinges in the vocal choruses. Here's a free download of "Swim Club".

Turns out they're going to be in Nashville April 17 - my thought is that this music - a very good rock trio with strong blues and psych elements - will translate well to a live setting. Last time they were in Nashville, they opened for Fleet Foxes at the Ryman. This time, they're headlining at The High Watt (part of the Mercy Lounge complex downtown) and you can click here to buy advance tickets.
