Alabama trio Slack Times will release their new album Carried Away next week. As evidenced by "I'm Trying", the final single from the album, the band's sweet spot is sunny guitar pop of the particularly jangly kind. Of course, that makes them our kind of band. Slack Times consists of Chris McCauley (guitar/vocals), Will Stewart (guitar/vocals, and Stuart Norman (guitar). Carried Away combines three previous EPs, and will be out June 24 via Meritorio Records.
