Clearance are Mike Bellis (guitar and vocals) and Arthur Velez. They originally started playing around Ann Arbor, then wisely moved to the City of Big Shoulders. Their engaging sound reminds me of Kiwi greats The Clean and The Bats, as well as some of the wonderful pop coming out of Melbourne lately (Boomgates, Dick Diver, Lower Plenty).
