Weighing in at the noise end of power pop, or perhaps the pop end of noise rock, York, UK's
Fawn Spots are an exciting duo. Their fine
Gravelines EP was released in February of this year.
Fawn Spots is Lee Bowden and Jonathan Meager, and apparently, they've only been a band for a bit over a year. Their music may remind you of Fugazi, Husker Du, No Age, Crocodiles and Japandroids, but even if it doesn't, I think you'll agree that the music is irresistible. There is a lot of potential here, and I'm going to keep an eye, and an ear, on it.
