"Data" from Proton Beast

New Zealand's Proton Beast specialize in noise, and in particular it feedback that fills the spaces between and wraps around notes.  It may is a bit different than our normal fare, and perhaps outside your usual playlist content.  But I think it is valuable to challenge yourself to widen your musical horizons.  And I find "Data" to be a very interesting track.  Apparently the theme is based on the alienation and group control concepts from Aldous Huxley's Brave New World.  The single is out now, and is taken from Digitizer -- the band's forthcoming album on Muzai Records.

Proton Beast, formerly a duo, now consist of Westley Hodsworth, Stuart Hardwood and Vaughan Williams.
