A few months ago I had never heard of Little Oso, but they are now one of our favorited indie pop bands. Such is the quality of the Portland, Maine's recent album How Lucky To Be Somebody. This is dreampop with tons of pep and swagger with vocals and melodies that will put a smile on your face and a spring in your step. This is solid craftsmanship with a light touch -- perfect for the upcoming Springtime.

It’s always great when a little-known band suddenly becomes a favorite, and Little Oso sounds like exactly that kind of discovery. *How Lucky To Be Somebody* seems to capture a really fun balance between dreamy textures, upbeat energy, and catchy songwriting, which makes it easy to imagine as a perfect spring soundtrack.
