I like this guy's music. Heard a song on a KEXP podcast and it grew on me over a couple of listens... I can't imagine it's everyone's cup of tea, but it's good prog-rock and he's clearly having a lot of fun with it.

Mogwai: Special Moves

They've released a live cd and announced they're signing with Sub Pop in the US, working on a new studio album for 2011. Special Moves available at their website:

The Asteroid #4: "Here We Go"

I'm a sucker for psych/pop. In case you couldn't tell... Seems like I had this song at one time, maybe it was on a Rainbow Quartz comp disc. Rainbow Quartz is a really good label, a pretty dependable source of psychedelic guitar pop.
